Longevity.Technology: Longevity Leaders are a global network of influential leaders from the worlds of aging science, consumer products, finance, technology and investment. Their mission is to advance innovations that will extend human health span and enable financial, physical and mental wellness in later life. Longevity Leaders is a subsidiary of LSX, an influential community of senior life science decision makers.

The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown aging and longevity into sharp public focus. The congress is of the opinion that it is now critical that we understand the biology of aging to improve the underlying health of our populations, improve immune response and reduce disease. We would agree with their view that financial wellbeing and security in later life urgently needs attention.

In addition, the care sector is in desperate need of innovation and support; the way that we work and connect with one another has shifted dramatically and permanently, with significant implications for aging populations. The congress will be exploring this topic in some depth.
The Longevity Leaders World Congress is the definitive global meeting with the mission of extending human health span, delivering healthy aging and financial wellness in the context of longevity. As three-conferences-in-one, it digs deeply into each facet while shared plenary and networking sessions provide opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange:
Ageing Science
Ageing Well
Financing Longevity

Some of our must-see agenda items include:
What is the longevity dividend, and where are the opportunities for investors?
VCs explain where they see the greatest areas of opportunity for entrepreneurs to access the longevity dividend, and what companies need to demonstrate to secure investment – featuring Joachim Rautter and Petr Sramek, among others.

Why innovation makes me excited about getting older
When we talk about innovating for later life, too often we think about it in terms of “other”. But if we’re lucky we’re all going to get there, so why aren’t we designing products and services with ourselves in mind? This session focuses on emerging innovation for older consumers and what corporate stakeholders are seeing to make them excited for later life – featuring Margarita Skarkou and Jackie Marshall-Cyrus, and moderated by founder of The Gerotechnologist, Keren Etkin.

Investing in longevity biotech – market opportunities, gaps and priorities
The world’s most prominent investors in longevity biotech share their thoughts on the biggest areas of opportunity, gaps in the market and framing priorities to bring more investment into the field – featuring Aubrey De Grey, Ronjon Nag and Alexandra Bause, among others.

Special session: 7 Signs of Longevity Revolution

Changing the narrative on ageing science to secure funding for fundamental research
COVID-19 has changed the narrative on the biology of ageing and its impact on health. This session explores how to better communicate the concept of ageing science to funding bodies in the wake of COVID-19, encouraging open dialogue between researchers and funding bodies – featuring João Pedro de Magalhães and Claire Stewart, and moderated by Lynne Cox.
