Aesthetic Record has acquired Joya Health, a corporate skin health and wellness benefit that connects employers and employees to credentialed dermatological and aesthetic care.
Aesthetic Record is an EMR and practice management platform used by more than 30,000 aesthetic providers nationwide, according to the company. The company claims Joya has achieved roughly 40% member utilization across Fortune 500 companies, school districts, and employers, including brands such as BYLT Premium Basics and Earthbar, surpassing category norms.
Joya reaches employers through a network of benefit brokers, consultants and other partners, the company says. The combined organization will create a unified infrastructure intended to replace fragmented patient acquisition with an integrated pathway from employer populations to vetted providers, the company claims, offering verified provider matching, subsidized benefits for services such as skin cancer screenings, Botox, lasers and facials, and a steadier source of new patients for practices.
Mike Jafar, Joya Health founder and CEO, will join Aesthetic Record’s board, according to the company.
