Allosteric Bioscience said it is applying genomics, genetics, systems biology, quantum computing and advanced artificial intelligence to study the molecular mechanisms of aging and longevity, according to the company.

The company states that its approach combines proprietary AI and molecular technologies with genomic and biological research tools to better understand and potentially control biological pathways involved in aging. The aim is to optimize the aging process and extend longevity, the company claims.

According to the company, its research is focusing on several biological factors associated with aging. These include Lamin A, a protein linked to cellular function, and tryptophan metabolism, which the company says is involved in many aging-related diseases. Additional areas of interest include improving DNA repair mechanisms and optimizing mitochondrial metabolism.

The company also said it is targeting the prevention and treatment of sarcopenia, a condition involving muscle loss associated with aging or weight loss drugs. Its work also seeks to regulate elements of what it describes as a Master Aging Complex identified by Allosteric Bioscience President and Co-Founder Dr. Arthur P. Bollon.

Allosteric Bioscience claims that developing modulators affecting key biological factors involved in aging could reduce age-related diseases and potentially extend lifespan. The company said it is seeking collaboration and partnership opportunities related to its research.
