One Medical’s latest offering analyzes members’ routine bloodwork for key biomarkers and provides personalized health insights.

Tech giant Amazon is stepping into the consumer longevity market after announcing it is integrating biomarker-driven guidance from longevity medicine platform Lifeforce into its Amazon One Medical primary care offering. The new “Health Insights” feature, launched this week in beta inside the One Medical app, is designed to translate routine bloodwork into a view of members’ day-to-day health, along with next-step suggestions to bring to their clinicians.

Health Insights is included with One Medical membership at no additional cost and is available to members who have at least one blood test result from the past year. Under the hood, Lifeforce is powering the biomarker analysis used in the feature, analyzing more than 50 biomarkers from standard lab panels and organizes the results by health domains such as cardiovascular, metabolic and immune function.

“Health Insights brings clarity to complex health data and gives providers another way to help our members understand what their lab results mean – so together, they can focus on what matters most: personalized care and better health outcomes,” said One Medical’s CMO Dr Andrew Diamond.

Lifeforce, which claims to be the world’s largest longevity medicine platform, provides a telehealth model that pairs at-home diagnostic testing with physician consultations, tailored treatment plans and coaching designed to extend lifespan and healthspan. The company says its members across the US have completed more than a million biomarker tests, claiming most participants exhibit measurable improvements in health and quality of life within six months.

“Americans have never been more motivated to take greater control of their health, and that’s a massive opportunity to empower them with the tools and insights they need,” said Lifeforce CEO Dugal Bain-Kim. “Meeting people in that moment of motivation can be transformative for their long-term health.”

After completing a brief questionnaire, the Health Insights feature generates a personalized wellness score derived from the biomarker profile, along with a detailed biomarker analysis organized by health domain, and lifestyle recommendations spanning nutrition, physical activity, stress management and sleep. It also includes scientific references tied to each recommendation.

Health Insights is also being rolled into One Medical’s recently introduced agentic health AI assistant. According to Amazon, the Health AI assistant helps members explore what the insights delivered by the new service mean in context. Members can ask follow-up questions, request plain-language explanations of medical terms, look for relationships between metrics, and track trends over time.

With its latest offering, Amazon is taking another step toward building a comprehensive consumer-facing health platform. While Health Insights is still in beta, the move is an indication that the tech firm views primary care as a opportunity to deliver preventive, longevity-focused medicine alongside treating and managing illness.
