Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals reported fiscal second-quarter 2026 results and detailed early commercial progress for REDEMPLO (plozasiran), its siRNA therapy for familial chylomicronemia syndrome, which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved on 18 November 2025.

The company reported more than 400 prescriptions in process and approximately 180 patients who have received at least one shipped pre-filled syringe, with new prescriptions averaging about 30 per week.

Arrowhead updated REDEMPLO’s U.S. wholesale acquisition cost to $45,000 per patient per year, a price the company characterizes as a premium to the competing APOC3 inhibitor and says is supported by its clinical evidence.

Regulatory activity outside the U.S. includes approvals in Australia and China, a CHMP positive opinion in Europe with an expected European Commission decision in the second quarter of 2026, and a Canadian Notice of Compliance with availability expected later in 2026.

The company presented long-term data showing an 83% median triglyceride reduction and reported no adjudicated acute pancreatitis events in a two-year Phase 2b open-label expansion.

Arrowhead also initiated dosing in a Phase 1/2a trial of ARO-DIMER-PA, its first dual-target RNAi candidate, and completed financing transactions that strengthened its balance sheet.
