AstronauTx Ltd. said it has appointed Adam Rosenberg as Chair of its Board of Directors, bringing extensive biotechnology executive and board leadership experience to the UK-based company’s push into therapies that improve sleep architecture as a treatment for Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders. Rosenberg’s appointment is part of AstronauTx’s preparations for clinical advancement and strategic partnerships as it progresses its pipeline.
Rosenberg has more than 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry and has co-founded and led multiple biotechnology companies, particularly in the central nervous system (CNS) and neuroscience space. He has served as CEO at firms including Aliada Therapeutics, Athenen Therapeutics, Link Medicine, Rodin Therapeutics and Teleos Therapeutics, all of which focused on neuroscience drug development, and was founding CEO at Sionna Therapeutics. He currently holds executive and board roles as CEO of RyCarma Therapeutics and Chair of Seamless Therapeutics and VectorY Therapeutics, reflecting broad operational, strategic and transactional expertise.
According to the company, Rosenberg’s leadership will be pivotal as AstronauTx advances its programmes toward the clinic, integrates data-led sleep physiology insights into drug discovery, and positions itself amid growing interest in sleep-related approaches to cognitive health. The company also acknowledged the contributions of former chair Tim Edwards, thanking him for his role in AstronauTx’s early development.
