C2N Diagnostics has formed a collaboration with SouthGenetics to expand access to its Precivity portfolio of blood tests for Alzheimer’s disease assessment across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The alliance will initially target Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico, Uruguay and Venezuela and aims to support implementation in regions with aging populations, limited dementia-specialist capacity and constrained PET imaging infrastructure.
Precivity tests provide information related to brain amyloid pathology and are intended to aid clinical evaluation and treatment decisions, but are not standalone diagnostic tools. SouthGenetics will support regional implementation through its commercial, medical and logistics network to facilitate physician awareness, country-specific activation, sample logistics and access pathways for qualified health care professionals.
According to the company, the PrecivityAD2 test has been evaluated in published research that reported high diagnostic accuracy in a large clinical study in JAMA and an independent validation in npj Dementia, and the test has received FDA Breakthrough Device designation and MHRA registration in 2025.
The partnership builds on prior early-detection initiatives in the region and seeks to address growing demand tied to recent approvals of disease-modifying Alzheimer’s therapies.
