C2N Diagnostics has partnered with Codex Genetics to introduce the PrecivityAD2 blood test in Hong Kong, aiming to improve early detection of Alzheimer’s disease, according to the company. The test measures biomarkers associated with amyloid pathology, allowing clinicians to assess the likelihood of Alzheimer’s in patients presenting with cognitive concerns.

Under the collaboration, C2N Diagnostics provides its proprietary PrecivityAD2 assay technology, including the analytical platform and biomarker interpretation framework, while Codex Genetics handles local regulatory compliance, distribution and patient access in the region. The company claims this partnership will facilitate broader availability of the test to hospitals, specialty clinics and research centers in Hong Kong.

PrecivityAD2 is a next-generation blood test that evaluates amyloid beta peptide ratios in plasma combined with patient-specific information to generate a risk score for Alzheimer’s disease. C2N Diagnostics reports that the test has been validated in multiple clinical studies and demonstrates high concordance with established imaging biomarkers, offering a non-invasive and scalable alternative to PET scans or cerebrospinal fluid analysis.

The collaboration is intended to support early intervention strategies by enabling clinicians to identify at-risk individuals sooner and potentially guide enrollment in clinical trials or personalized care plans. C2N Diagnostics said the partnership also aims to build local expertise in interpreting Alzheimer’s biomarker data and integrating test results into clinical workflows.

Through this initiative, C2N Diagnostics is positioning PrecivityAD2 as a key tool for advancing precision neurology in Asia, while Codex Genetics leverages its regional presence to ensure compliance, patient support and efficient delivery of the diagnostic service. The companies claim the program represents a significant step toward improving early diagnosis and disease management for Alzheimer’s patients in Hong Kong.
