According to the company, the funding will help advance research and development of technologies aimed at earlier and more accurate detection of the disease.
The company said it has also appointed Dr. David Holtzman as a member of its executive team. C2N Diagnostics claims that Holtzman, a recognized expert in neurology and Alzheimer’s research, will contribute to its scientific and clinical strategy.
C2N Diagnostics focuses on developing tests that measure amyloid beta and other key proteins linked to Alzheimer’s disease pathology. According to the company, its goal is to deliver tools that enable earlier diagnosis and improve patient care.
The company claims that the grant and the addition of Holtzman to its leadership team strengthen its position in the neurodegenerative disease diagnostics space. C2N Diagnostics said these developments align with its mission to translate scientific discoveries into clinical solutions for Alzheimer’s and related conditions.
