Cala Health has been named to TIME and Statista’s World’s Top HealthTech Companies 2026 list in the Medical Devices and Wearables category.

The designation follows TIME and Statista research that recognizes 500 healthtech companies across six market segments and evaluates financial performance, reputation and online engagement.

According to the company, its Cala TAPS therapy, delivered from a wrist-worn wearable, is the most researched wearable treatment for essential tremor.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared the Cala kIQ Plus system earlier this year for action hand tremor in essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease, and the company claims kIQ Plus introduces new therapy modes and adaptive calibration to personalize treatment.

The Cala system is available through the Veterans Affairs health system at no cost to eligible beneficiaries and has Medicare coverage for those who meet local coverage criteria, and the company continues to seek expanded reimbursement.
