Cellbricks Therapeutics has raised €10 million in new financing comprising a €7 million seed round and more than €3 million in non-dilutive funding currently under negotiation, enabling progression of its biofabricated human tissue implants toward clinical testing.

The funding is intended to advance the firm’s lead adipose tissue implant program, initiate up to three preclinical animal studies and generate translational data aimed at treating complex soft tissue defects, wound healing and trauma care, including biological alternatives to synthetic implants used in reconstructive procedures such as breast reconstruction.

The round was led by Silicon Roundabout Ventures with participation from Germany’s Federal Agency for Breakthrough Innovation SPRIND, ACT Venture Partners and existing investors.

The company claims its proprietary biofabrication platform can produce vascularized human tissue implants and says the new capital will accelerate preclinical validation, strengthen translational evidence and help build biological and manufacturing foundations toward longer-term goals such as 3D-bioprinted viable human organs.
