Chopra Foundation teams up with HLI on longevity and healthspan

Partnership combines advanced precision medicine with holistic mind-body practices to extend longevity and improve healthspan.

The Chopra Foundation and Human Longevity, Inc have announced a strategic partnership aimed at extending longevity and enhancing healthspan by combining their approaches to health and wellness. The collaboration merges the Chopra Foundation’s expertise in integrative health and mind-body practices with HLI’s precision medicine platform, offering members access to services from both organizations.

Dubbed the “100+ Program”, HLI’s data-driven precision medicine offering integrates whole genome sequencing, extensive body and brain imaging, cardiac evaluations, body composition analysis, advanced blood biomarkers and wearable technology. Armed with this information, HLI creates personalized programs aimed at preventing chronic diseases and extending longevity. The company says its analysis of health data enables pre-symptomatic diagnoses of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic diseases.

“Combining our precision health intelligence with the Chopra Foundation’s transformative mind-body practices will provide a comprehensive solution for individuals seeking to extend their longevity,” said Dr David Karow, President of HLI.

The Chopra Foundation was founded by Dr Deepak Chopra, a prominent figure in integrative medicine, and focuses on expanding spiritual knowledge, consciousness, and global health through mind-body healing practices.

“We are thrilled to partner with Human Longevity and combine our organizations’ respective expertise in personalized physical and spiritual wellbeing,” said Chopra, a clinical professor at the University of California, San Diego, and author of 90 books on health and wellness. “By integrating HLI’s advanced medical technologies with the Chopra Foundation’s holistic approach centered on the seven pillars of wellbeing, we can empower individuals to achieve peak living and extend their longevity.”

The Chopra Foundation aims to complement HLI’s approach by focusing on holistic aspects of health such as sleep, meditation, physical movement, emotional regulation, nutrition, community, and self-awareness. Together, these practices are intended to foster a comprehensive, proactive approach to health and wellness.

“Our partnership with Human Longevity, Inc marks a revolutionary step in combining advanced medical technologies, artificial intelligence with holistic wellbeing practices,” said Poonacha Machaiah, CEO of the Chopra Foundation. “Together, we will empower individuals to enhance their healthspan and achieve peak living, reflecting our commitment to global wellbeing and integrative health solutions.”

Co-founded in 2013 by precision medicine pioneer Dr J Craig Venter, a leading figure in the sequencing of the human genome, HLI’s mission is to discover and leverage technological and biological interventions that extend lifespan, enhance health, and optimize performance. By continuously collecting and analyzing client health data, the organization aims to transform the current reactive “sickcare” system into a proactive, preventative, and personalized healthcare model.

The partnership also plans to host a series of joint educational events throughout the year, including webinars, panel discussions, and wellness retreats. These events will be available to members of both organizations, providing access to exclusive content and a community of individuals with shared health and wellness goals.

Further details and new initiatives stemming from the partnership will be announced in the coming months.
