Cognition Therapeutics said its president and CEO, Lisa Ricciardi, will present at the 25th Annual Needham Virtual Healthcare Conference on 13 April 2026.
Ricciardi will provide an update on the company’s development programs for Alzheimer’s disease and dementia with Lewy bodies. A live webcast will be available via Cognition Therapeutics’ investor relations site, and an archived replay will be accessible for 90 days. The company notes its lead candidate, zervimesine (CT1812), is being studied in the Phase 2 START trial in patients with MCI and early Alzheimer’s disease, and that prior Phase 2 studies have concluded in DLB, mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s and geographic atrophy secondary to dry AMD.
The company claims strong efficacy signals in the Phase 2 SHIMMER study in DLB and plans to advance zervimesine into a late-stage trial for DLB psychosis. Zervimesine has been generally well-tolerated in clinical studies to date, according to the company. The USAN Council has adopted zervimesine as the United States Adopted Name for CT1812.
