Cognito Therapeutics will present new data at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) 2026 in London showing the effects of its investigational device Spectris on lipid transport biomarkers in Alzheimer’s disease.

The poster Spectris Sensory Stimulation Increases CSF HDL-like Lipid Transport Proteins In Alzheimer’s Disease is scheduled for 13 July 2026 in Exhibit Hall at Excel London in the Biomarkers (non-neuroimaging) session; presenter is Ralph Kern, MD MHSc, poster number 2023, session P2-06.

The poster highlights exploratory proteomic findings that Spectris increased cerebrospinal fluid levels of HDL-like lipid transport proteins in amyloid-positive mild cognitive impairment participants.

Spectris is described by Cognito Therapeutics as an investigational at-home neuroprotective therapy that uses non-invasive sensory-driven neurostimulation to evoke gamma frequency brain activity.

The company claims prior feasibility studies have shown potential for Spectris to preserve cognition and daily function and to slow brain atrophy in mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease.

Cognito Therapeutics presents the AAIC data as supporting further investigation of lipid transport modulation as a potential brain resilience pathway.
