Indian longevity company has moved from lab work to launch, turning a December funding round into new products and diagnostics.
Indian longevity company Decode Age is starting to show what a longevity-focused pre-Series A round actually buys. In December 2025, the Bengaluru-based startup raised $1.7 million (₹14.48 crore) in a round led by Dr Krishna Prasad Chigurupati, Chairman and Managing Director of Granules India, with the funds earmarked for biomarker discovery, multi-omics research and laboratory upgrades [1].
The investment strengthens the company’s mission to make the biology of aging measurable, understandable and actionable through science-led solutions and a microbiome-centered longevity ecosystem. Eight months on, that mission is starting to show up on shelves and in the lab.
The clearest signal came in March 2026, when Decode Age launched Mag7, a magnesium supplement combining seven distinct magnesium forms – including bisglycinate, malate, taurate and citrate – alongside Aquamin and the liposomal delivery ingredient Lipoza [2]. Each serving delivers 370mg of elemental magnesium, or 99% of the recommended daily allowance, with the formulation split by function: bisglycinate and taurate for nervous system calm and sleep, malate for energy metabolism and muscle endurance, and manganese citrate for general bioavailability.
Parth Amin, CEO and co-founder of Decode Age, framed the launch as part of a broader shift in the company’s supplement philosophy, saying the goal was to build “a foundational nutrition stack where every product earns its place through clinical logic rather than market convention.”

It’s a notable statement for a company that, as of its last disclosed financials (FY24), generated roughly 93% of revenue from supplements rather than diagnostics – and one that suggests Decode Age is trying to differentiate on formulation rigor in an Indian magnesium market it says is still dominated by single- or dual-form products.
The supplement launch hasn’t come at the expense of testing. Decode Age has said it plans further tests, including oral and vaginal microbiome testing, and new formulations directed at inflammation and cognitive health, extending a diagnostics platform built around its Decode Biome gut microbiome test, marketed as India’s first metagenomic sequencing-based offering of its kind.
The company has also opened its first physical retail store, giving it an offline complement to a business that has so far grown primarily through e-commerce and a 2024 appearance on Shark Tank India.
What ties Mag7 and the diagnostics roadmap together is a positioning argument Decode Age has leaned on since its 2021 founding: that supplementation without measurement is incomplete. The company pairs its supplement range, which also includes NMN, LongeVit and a set of senolytic and metabolic compounds, with biomarker and microbiome testing intended to let customers track whether an intervention is doing anything at the biological level, rather than take efficacy on faith.
That framing doesn’t resolve the tension that has followed Decode Age, and the broader longevity supplement category, since its earliest funding rounds. Many of the ingredients across its product range have supporting data from lab and animal studies, but robust human evidence for lifespan or healthspan extension remains limited industry-wide.
Decode Age describes several of its products as clinically informed; those are the company’s own characterizations, and worth reading in the context of a sector where product launches are currently outpacing clinical consensus.
Still, the December raise appears to be translating into visible output rather than sitting on a balance sheet. With a magnesium reformulation shipped, new microbiome tests in development and international research ambitions on the table, Decode Age’s next real test will be whether its diagnostics data can eventually substantiate the claims its supplements are already making.
