Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas has expanded a collaboration with VoxNeuro to integrate the latter’s FDA-cleared Cognitive Function Neuroimaging (cfNI) software into DICOT’s diagnostic imaging and patient care platform for patients recovering from motor vehicle collisions, workplace incidents and other traumatic injuries.

cfNI delivers a digital post-hoc statistical analysis of electroencephalogram data, including event-related potentials, to generate standardized EEG and ERP measures for clinician assessment

The device is FDA 510(k)-cleared under K253015, is intended for use by qualified healthcare professionals in individuals 18 to 70, and does not provide a diagnosis.

The integration will pair cfNI with MRI, CT and ultrasound services across DICOT brands, including Memorial MRI & Diagnostic and Foundation Physicians Group, to add objective functional data alongside structural imaging.

The release notes that more than 250,000 Texans were injured in motor vehicle traffic crashes in 2024, according to the Texas Department of Transportation, and states the approach aims to keep assessments within the DICOT network while providing additional neurophysiological information to clinicians.
