dōTERRA International, LLC, the global leader in essential oils and natural wellness products, announced that company founder David Stirling has officially resumed his role as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Stirling was previously CEO before stepping down in 2022 to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Armenia and Georgia, and during his absence he continued to serve on the company’s board of directors.

Since returning to the organisation last summer, Stirling has spent time re-engaging with teams and leadership across dōTERRA, strengthening his commitment to the company’s mission, people, and products. In a statement, he expressed gratitude for the dedication of dōTERRA’s employees and Wellness Advocates and emphasised his enthusiasm to lead the company forward in support of its purpose of helping people around the world improve their health and wellbeing.

Stirling succeeds Kirk Jowers, who had served as CEO during a period of economic and direct sales challenges, helping to guide the business through shifting market conditions. In conjunction with the leadership transition, dōTERRA also announced that Jessica Moultrie, a longtime Wellness Advocate with more than 15 years of experience building the business, will join the executive team as President of North America, focusing on sales and event strategy. Other senior leaders such as Isaac Wilson (General Manager, U.S. market) and Shannon Bible (Executive Vice President of North America) will continue in their roles to support regional growth and alignment.

dōTERRA emphasised that its vision, values and strategic priorities remain unchanged, and the leadership adjustments are intended to reinforce continuity and momentum as the wellness brand continues expanding its reach and support for advocates and customers globally.
