Co-producer Ruben Figueres told Longevity.Technology he feels a significant perception shift is on the way.

“This film is turning out to be the biggest production ever made about the field and thanks to people like Edward Norton, Tony Robbins and Mark Cuban, it will make the connection to the mainstream audience that the longevity space needs in order to become a mass phenomenon,” he says.

“It is only a matter of time that the general population realizes the importance of preventive medicine and the possibilities of living a much longer and healthier life than previously thought. And this film will serve as a bridge. I want to thank all the companies and investors that have made it possible and encourage other players in the field to get involved in the project one way or another.”

Figueres says the film and its expected success will provide a benefit for everybody.

“The big winner is the general audience that will learn about longevity and hopefully make life changes that will improve their quality of life,” he explains. “The second winner is the longevity industry and all the companies and researchers involved in it, since there will be a big influx of mainstream interest and customers which will attract more investors and growth. The third winner is the film investors that are very likely to get a healthy return on their investment in multiple ways.

“And the last winners are the filmmakers, that aside of the measurable benefits of producing a film of this level, will have the gratification of producing such a positive impact in so many millions of people and changing their lives in a positive way.”
