Eisai Inc. will present new data on Lecanemab at the 78th American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting, 18–22 April 2026, in Chicago and online. The Lecanemab data and additional neurology research will be presented in 14 sessions, including four oral presentations, and Eisai will host an Industry Therapeutic Update.
Oral sessions scheduled for 19 April cover effects on soluble cerebrospinal fluid Aβ protofibrils in CLARITY AD, a clinical profile for a subcutaneous formulation, initial findings from the 48-month open-label extension, and an analysis estimating 10-year time-savings benefits.
Poster sessions include real-world safety surveillance using the ALZ-NET registry, real-world treatment outcomes from geriatric and New England dementia clinics, analyses of long-term benefit, including in patients with low baseline amyloid, and Delphi consensus recommendations for implementing anti-amyloid monoclonal antibodies in private practice.
Eisai will sponsor a two-part symposium on April 20 on the concept of smoldering AD and how anti-amyloid therapy may address multiple aspects of the disease, a program the company frames as translating clinical trial and real-world evidence into practice.
Eisai serves as lead developer and regulatory submitter for Lecanemab, co-commercializes the product with Biogen, and retains final decision-making authority.
