Elysium has launched Balance, a supplement aimed at perimenopause and menopause that combines Basis with S-equol and ergothioneine to target disruptive symptoms and longer-term health.
According to the company, newly published research on Basis showed a significant increase in the estradiol-to-estrone ratio and reported reductions in hot flashes, poor sleep and bloating in an open-label pilot.
The company says Balance pairs Basis, Elysium’s NAD+ formulation, with S-equol, which the company says has been clinically shown to reduce hot flash frequency and support healthy bone markers, and with ergothioneine, a dietary antioxidant the company says supports cellular protection and has been studied for sleep.
Balance is positioned to address both acute symptoms and postmenopausal health concerns. The product officially launched to the public on 18 October 2026, and is available for purchase on Elysium’s website.
The company also plans further clinical research, including a larger randomized placebo-controlled trial, and has added reproductive-aging expert Yousin Suh, Ph.D., to its Scientific Advisory Board.
