Company aims to offer at-home clinical trial services for cardiovascular health, Alzheimer’s and other chronic conditions.

Preventive medicine company Endless Health has secured $4.5 million in seed funding to expand its at-home blood test powered service into longevity. The Austin, Texas-based company aims to build on its established cardiovascular health offering by expanding its testing panels to include Alzheimer’s disease and other chronic conditions.

The new funding will be used to develop Endless Health’s at-home clinical trial services, including self-collection kits and central lab services. The company says its services will focus on tracking key longevity blood markers, with its first clinical trials for at-home and point-of-care medical devices expected to conclude by the end of this summer.

Endless Health was created after the mother of its co-founder suffered a severe heart attack, which could have been prevented with early testing and preventive measures. The company’s original mission was to prevent atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease by providing reliable heart health testing for everyone, starting with a customizable heart health testing kit, providing in-home testing for biomarkers that predict long-term cardiovascular and metabolic health.

With the new funds, Endless Health plans to scale its white-label testing services to millions of people, leveraging at-home testing capabilities to conduct clinical trials more cost-effectively and efficiently.

“We can now expand our panels from at-home blood tests for cardiovascular disease risk to linked conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease,” said Dr Cooper Galvin, CEO and co-founder of Endless Health. “The future of healthcare is preventive medicine.”

The funding will also enable the development of “plug-and-play” at-home clinical trial and prevention programs.

“The challenge we are taking on is to make clinical trials and prevention programs easy to plan, fun to execute and participate in, retain participants and researchers, and more informative to the real-world performance of devices or therapeutics,” said co-founder Jiabao Li.

The funding round was led by Next Coast Ventures, with participation from Asset Management Ventures and Antler Elevate.
