Genflow Biosciences Plc reported progress across its two principal SIRT6 patent families, including publication of US patent application US 2026/0199524 A1 covering use of its centenarian-derived SIRT6 variant (N308K/A313S) in the prevention and treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, including non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.
The USPTO granted Track One prioritized examination for a foundational in-licensed US SIRT6 compound of matter application that is part of a patent family jointly owned by the University of Rochester, The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York and Albert Einstein College of Medicine and exclusively licensed to Genflow.
The corresponding European application is at a last stage before the European Patent Office, and the timing of any grant is subject to completion of EPO formal procedures. Publication and Track One status are procedural steps that do not constitute patent grants or determine final claim scope.
Genflow’s lead program GF-1002 delivers a centenarian SIRT6 variant, and a proof-of-concept clinical trial in aged dogs began in March 2025.
