Genflow Biosciences PLC reports that its SLAB (Sarcopenia and Longevity in Aged Beagles) randomized, blinded trial of its SIRT6 centenarian gene therapy met the primary endpoint of reduced biological age measured by the GRIM methylation clock.
The study enrolled 24 beagle dogs older than 10 years, allocated to four groups: two naked DNA treatment cohorts at different dose levels, a single-dose AAV8 cohort, and a saline control.
Genflow Biosciences claims treated animals showed a clear signal of improvement versus controls and that improvements were observed across multiple functional and observable secondary measures.
The company states these findings build on preliminary muscle data reported in February 2026 and sustained safety and efficacy at a three-month follow-up in April 2026.
Detailed mechanistic and methylation clock results will be presented at the Animal Longevity Summit in Toronto on 1-2 October 2026, and the company is engaging potential Tier-1 animal health partners for licensing, co-development and commercialization discussions.
