Haut.AI has launched Clinical Studies Software, a validated platform intended to enable skincare, beauty, ingredient, and dermatology organizations to run remote and hybrid clinical research at scale.
The platform standardizes image capture and AI measurement across five integrated workflow layers and quantifies 48 validated biomarkers, including wrinkles, pigmentation, texture, acne, redness, and pore appearance.
The company claims the software can reduce study setup time from the typical eight to 16 weeks to two or three days by digitizing design, capture, measurement, analysis and substantiation steps.
Validation work conducted with clinical partners demonstrated repeatability with intraclass correlation coefficients of 0.97 to 0.98 across five facial endpoints, and the company reports strong agreement with a dermatology expert consensus panel for structural aging and pigmentation whether images are captured on medical equipment or participant phones.
The software has been used in large programs, including a consumer screening of more than 7,000 participants, and includes anonymization features for facial imagery via the company’s Skin Atlas technology.
