Insilico Medicine published a study in Cell introducing an open AI longevity discovery toolkit made up of three resources: LongevityBench, Longevity-LLMs and Longevity Claw.

The paper presents LongevityBench as an open benchmark to evaluate AI reasoning across multiple domains of aging biology, describes Longevity-LLMs as compact open-source language models trained on clinical and multi-omics aging data, and characterizes Longevity Claw as an open-source agentic research platform that integrates specialized tools to identify and prioritize therapeutic targets.

The study, selected as the journal’s cover feature, was conducted with collaborators at Liquid AI, the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

The publication follows Insilico’s Sept. 7, 2026 Nature Biotechnology paper reporting that rentosertib, an AI-discovered drug candidate for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, reduced biological age across six independent proteomic aging clocks in a Phase IIa trial.

The Cell paper nominates genes including KDM1A, which the company says has been independently validated in separate published work to extend lifespan in Caenorhabditis elegans.

Insilico is a clinical-stage biotechnology company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the code 03696.HK.
