Isaac Health, a telehealth-based brain health and dementia care provider, has formed a partnership with NYU Langone Health, combining Isaac Health’s virtual memory care platform with NYU Langone’s extensive neurology expertise to broaden access to specialist brain health and memory care services, the organisations said. The collaboration is designed to connect patients and families with qualified specialists more quickly than traditional in-person referral models, particularly for conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
According to the announcement, New York state—where the partnership is initially focused—has among the highest projected Alzheimer’s prevalence in the United States, creating significant demand for timely cognitive evaluations and ongoing management. The new pathway intends to reduce geographic and capacity barriers by enabling virtual evaluations and care management through Isaac Health’s platform, while maintaining continuity with NYU Langone’s in-person and hospital-based services where needed.
Under the collaboration, patients referred by NYU Langone can receive multidisciplinary virtual care, screening, specialist assessment and ongoing support via Isaac Health’s telehealth infrastructure, aiming to shorten wait times for diagnosis and treatment planning. The approach is intended to allow patients to access expert care in days rather than months, addressing critical gaps in neurological specialist availability.
The partnership brings together Isaac Health’s digital brain health model with one of the nation’s leading neurology programmes at NYU Langone, reflecting a broader trend toward hybrid care models that integrate virtual and traditional in-person services to improve access to specialised medical care.
