Life Biosciences has closed a $50 million Series B financing round, exceeding its initial $25 million target to meet investor demand, according to the company.

The company plans to use the proceeds to support research and development across its network of six subsidiary companies, referred to as Daughter Companies, focused on therapeutics targeting the eight pathways of age‑related decline. These include ventures in companion animal health and human diseases, leveraging shared resources such as a 24,000 sq ft vivarium, robotics and drug screening facilities in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Life Biosciences claims that the Series B funding, backed by individuals, family trusts and professional investors, reflects market confidence in its portfolio‑based longevity strategy. The capital will advance programs addressing systemic aging mechanisms, including cell senescence, stem cell exhaustion and fibrosis, as part of a broader longevity biotech trend.

Founded in 2017, Life Biosciences organizes its ventures to operate independently while leveraging centralized infrastructure and data platforms. The company said that the additional financing will accelerate progress of candidate therapies from preclinical stages toward development milestones.

This strategic investment positions Life Biosciences to further differentiate in the competitive longevity sector by advancing a diversified pipeline aimed at extending healthy lifespan.
