Lineage Cell Therapeutics reported total revenue of $14.6 million for the year ended December 31, 2025, an increase from $9.5 million in 2024, according to the company. The growth was primarily attributed to higher collaboration revenue recognized under its agreement with Roche after achieving a milestone, along with a research collaboration with WDI.
For the fourth quarter of 2025, revenue totaled approximately $6.6 million compared with $2.9 million in the same period of 2024. Operating expenses for the quarter rose to $13.2 million from $8.0 million a year earlier, mainly due to higher research and development spending, including costs associated with the OpRegen program and other preclinical initiatives.
The company reported net income of $0.9 million for the fourth quarter of 2025, compared with a net loss of $3.3 million in the prior year period. According to the company, the improvement reflected higher collaboration revenue and other income.
For the full year, Lineage recorded a net loss of $63.5 million, or $0.28 per share, compared with a net loss of $18.6 million, or $0.09 per share, in 2024. The company said the increase in loss was largely driven by non-cash expenses including the fair value remeasurement of warrant liabilities and an impairment related to an intangible asset from a previous acquisition.
Lineage Cell Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing allogeneic cell therapies designed as off-the-shelf treatments for serious medical conditions.
