Longeveron will take part in three longevity and aging investment conferences in October: the 13th Aging Research and Drug Discovery Meeting in Boston on 1-3 October, the Abundance Longevity Trip on 7-11 October with virtual participation, and the Longevity Partnering Forum in South San Francisco on 19-20 October.
The company highlights ongoing development of laromestrocel, also known as Lomecel-B, an investigational mesenchymal stem cell therapy that the company describes as having potential anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects; laromestrocel has not been approved by the FDA.
Longeveron published a preprint on medRxiv reporting a post hoc exploratory analysis from its Phase 2a CLEAR MIND study (n=49) that indicated laromestrocel treatment may reduce neuroinflammation in the brain in Alzheimer’s disease. The preprint has not completed peer review.
The company also notes Phase 2b results showing intravenous laromestrocel improved the physical condition of patients with age-related clinical frailty after nine months, with those results published in Cell Stem Cell in February 2026, and that in August 2026 it was selected as an XPRIZE Healthspan Milestone 2 Awardee, receiving $1,000,000 to support a future clinical trial.
