Longevica Therapeutics has assembled a multidisciplinary Scientific Advisory Board and is shifting from data generation to clinical execution following the recent appointment of Dr. Prasun Mishra as CEO.
The company claims it invested $13 million over four years to run an in vivo mammalian screening program at The Jackson Laboratory that tracked 1,033 small-molecule compounds across more than 16,000 mouse subjects over their natural lifespans.
Computational analysis of that dataset, the company claims, identified two candidate mechanisms of lifespan extension and roughly 60 compounds that extended mammalian lifespan by about 10 to 22 percent.
Longevica outlines a synchronized commercialization strategy that includes developing two novel classes of health-and-lifespan therapeutics, systematically repurposing lifespan-extending molecules for age-related indications, training AI models on full-lifespan phenotypic outcomes to accelerate target discovery, and translating safe formulations to companion animals for faster validation and market entry.
The advisory board comprises academic and industry leaders across cell signaling, computational phenomics, multi-omics, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, clinical development, and life sciences finance.
