Mayrlife Medical Health Resort Altaussee launched a GLP-1 and Lifestyle Integration Program at its Lake Altaussee clinic in Austria to support people already using GLP-1–based weight management medications. The programme does not prescribe or administer GLP-1 treatments; instead, it integrates nutrition, movement, recovery and preventive healthcare alongside externally supervised medication.

Guests receive a comprehensive medical examination on arrival, personalized health assessments, functional myodiagnostics, manual abdominal treatments, basal metabolic rate analysis via e-scan and 3D body scans to guide tailored plans.

Nutrition elements include in-depth dietary assessment, personalised meal plans aimed at preserving muscle mass during weight loss and optional infusion therapies. Movement and conditioning combine strength training, movement therapy, recovery interventions and cryotherapy, while additional offerings include detox treatments such as salt peelings, herbal wraps and electrolysis foot baths. Stays start at seven nights, with longer programmes available.

According to the company, the initiative is intended to help guests maintain results and reduce the risk of rebound weight gain, and the company claims it positions Mayrlife at the intersection of wellness tourism, longevity medicine and personalised healthcare.
