Nanoscope Therapeutics announced that Christine Kay, MD, will present four-year follow-up data from the RESTORE Phase 2b/3 trial of MCO-010 (sonpiretigene isteparvovec, MOGENRY) for retinitis pigmentosa at the 59th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Retina Society in Los Angeles on 23 September 2026, at 3:15 PM PT.

The presentation, titled Lasting Vision Improvement With MCO-010 Optogenetic Therapy: REMAIN 4-Year Study Data From the RESTORE Phase 2b/3 Trial for Retinitis Pigmentosa, reports expanded long-term durability of patient benefit; the company claims MOGENRY-dosed patients continue to maintain visual acuity gains and that MOGENRY is the only program to demonstrate sustained restoration of visual acuity with long-term durability.

According to the company, the biologics license application for MOGENRY has been accepted and filed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

MCO-010 has received FDA Fast Track and Orphan Drug designations for retinitis pigmentosa and Stargardt disease and RMAT designation for Stargardt disease, along with EMA orphan and other international designations.

The program has shown promising Phase 2 results in Stargardt disease, and the company plans a Phase 3 registrational trial in 2026, with a Phase 2 program in geographic atrophy and other IND-ready programs also noted.
