NeuroRPM’s FDA-cleared wearable platform will be used to monitor digital biomarkers in Annovis Bio’s ANVS-25002 open-label Parkinson’s disease trial. The study is expected to enroll approximately 500 participants across multiple clinical sites, and eligible participants may opt into NeuroRPM monitoring to complement scheduled study assessments with continuous real-world symptom tracking.
The NeuroRPM platform uses the Apple Watch to passively collect and analyze movement data during daily activities to provide continuous measurement of motor symptoms, including bradykinesia, tremor and dyskinesia. Its platform is the first FDA-cleared AI-enabled medical device for continuous monitoring of Parkinson’s symptoms, and advanced algorithms translate wearable sensor data into digital biomarkers to help researchers evaluate treatment response with greater granularity.
Annovis Bio is a Phase 3 clinical-stage biotechnology company developing buntanetap, an investigational once-daily oral therapy; the ANVS-25002 study will assess that candidate in people with Parkinson’s disease. Following the study, participants may continue using NeuroRPM for ongoing clinical monitoring by prescription.
