NeuroSense announced that the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (INPI) has granted Brazilian Patent No. BR 112024007727-6, entitled Compositions Comprising Ciprofloxacin and Celecoxib, providing patent protection for its PrimeC composition in Brazil through October 2042.

The grant follows prior approvals of the corresponding U.S. patent 12,097,185 and Australian patent 2022370513 and is described as strengthening NeuroSense’s global intellectual property estate.

PrimeC is presented as a proprietary fixed-dose extended-release oral therapy combining ciprofloxacin and celecoxib in a synchronized formulation, which the company describes as distinct from simple co-administration. NeuroSense is preparing to initiate a Phase 3 pivotal trial in ALS (PARAGON) after positive Phase 2b PARADIGM results and FDA clearance, the company adds.

The patent supports long-term development and potential commercialization of PrimeC in ALS, Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative indications.
