NeuroSense has redesigned its PrimeC development plan in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis to pursue a potential regulatory submission faster and at materially lower cost than its previously planned path.
The program is structured as three focused elements: AI-enabled modeling of Phase 2b PARADIGM clinical data to characterize PrimeC’s formulation contribution, an active-comparator clinical study directly against edaravone, and an optimized pivotal Phase 3 PARAGON study that the company describes as substantially smaller, shorter and enriched for participants earlier in disease to support an earlier submission.
NeuroSense claims the redesigned strategy builds on PARADIGM results that it says showed clinically meaningful slowing of functional decline, statistically significant modulation of extracellular vesicle-associated TDP-43, consistent biomarker findings and encouraging long-term survival.
The company has received FDA clearance to initiate the PARAGON trial and has completed the pre-New Drug Submission process with Health Canada, targeting a New Drug Submission in December 2026.
NeuroSense also noted risks including potential trial and filing delays, financing requirements and regulatory uncertainties.
