Niagen Bioscience reported a 30 percent year‑over‑year increase in net sales to $129.4 million for its fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, according to the company’s financial results. Net income more than doubled, rising 103 percent to $17.4 million, with basic earnings per share of $0.22.
The company’s gross margin improved 250 basis points to 64.3 percent in 2025 compared with the previous year, driven by favourable product mix and inventory sales. Adjusted EBITDA, a non‑GAAP measure, increased 139 percent to $20.4 million, and cash and cash equivalents at year‑end totalled $64.8 million versus $44.7 million at December 31, 2024.
Niagen Bioscience attributed the sales increase to higher revenue from its Tru Niagen® product line and ingredient sales, supported by e‑commerce growth and expanded market penetration. Selling and marketing, research and development, and general and administrative expenses increased as the company invested in brand growth, product development and clinical activities.
For the fourth quarter of 2025, total net sales grew 16 percent to $33.8 million compared with the prior year quarter, with gross margin up and adjusted EBITDA improving on a year‑over‑year basis.
For 2026, Niagen Bioscience expects net sales to increase between 10 percent and 15 percent, excluding revenue from its recently sold reference standards segment, reflecting a more moderate growth outlook.
