UMethod Health published a peer-reviewed, real-world study in Current Aging Science that, according to the company, documented favorable cognitive outcomes associated with its AI-supported RestoreU care plans.

The retrospective, nonrandomized implementation-and-outcomes analysis reviewed 345 paired cognitive tests over a mean follow-up of 14.1 months and, according to the company, found that 83.5% of patients improved, remained stable, or declined slowly without transitioning to a worse diagnostic stage, while 1.7% declined more slowly than typical and transitioned to the next diagnostic state.

Patients in the analysis averaged 74.6 years of age, had nine comorbid conditions, were taking 11.7 medications and had 23 clinically significant drug-drug interactions.

The company claims RestoreU analyzes complete longitudinal medical records to generate personalized, prioritized care plans, is aligned with Medicare cognitive assessment and care planning services, and has been commercially deployed since 2016.

The study is authored by Zelek, Walker, and Crocker-Sabbagh and is presented as a real-world implementation-and-outcomes analysis.
