Prenuvo launched the Prenuvo Research Network to coordinate real-world studies using whole-body MRI to study disease patterns.
The initiative is powered by the Prenuvo Imaging Biobank, which the company claims is the largest standardized collection of whole-body MRI scans; according to the company, the Biobank includes more than 200,000 scans.
The Network combines Prenuvo’s AI tools, internal R&D teams, scientists and academic collaborators and provides controlled access to de-identified imaging datasets and AI-powered statistical summaries.
It launches with four featured studies, according to the company, including an analysis of pulmonary and mediastinal findings, an incidental brain findings study of more than 78,000 screened individuals reporting that 7% had clinically significant abnormalities, a study of whole-body and brain changes associated with alcohol intake in adults without alcohol use disorder, and an analysis of 117,826 whole-body MRI scans assessing incidental renal findings.
According to the company, all studies will follow applicable ethical, patient safety, data integrity and regulatory compliance requirements, including collaborator institution IRB review where required.
Prenuvo currently operates in 26 clinics across North America, Australia and Europe with an affiliated radiology group of more than 100 radiologists.
