At the Movement Disorder Society of Australia and New Zealand meeting in Sydney (15-17 May), Daniel Claassen, M.D., M.S., will present a poster reporting results from a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of ATH434 in MSA using CSF NfL as a covariate.
At the MSA Symposium in London on 18 May, David Stamler, M.D., CEO, will deliver an oral clinical update and phase 3 planning presentation scheduled for 16:15-17:00 local time.
According to the company, Alterity is preparing to initiate a phase 3 pivotal trial in MSA; the company claims that ATH434 demonstrated clinically meaningful efficacy in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase 2 trial and reported positive open-label data in advanced MSA.
