The test uses shotgun metagenomics sequencing and is processed in CLIA- and CAP-certified laboratories, with results delivered in approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
The personalized report covers microbiome diversity, markers of gut-driven inflammation, signals of increased intestinal permeability, abundance of keystone bacteria such as Akkermansia and Bifidobacterium, and indicators tied to metabolic and immune function.
The test ships directly to consumers, is HSA/FSA eligible, requires no clinical visit, and features mess-free at-home collection; the company recommends re-testing every 60 to 90 days to track changes over time.
According to the company, the test is built on resbiotic’s Gut-X Axis framework and extends the firm’s evidence-based approach that underpins its probiotic formulas.
The company claims those proprietary strains emerged from NIH-funded microbiome research and that its supplement formulas have product-level clinical validation.
