Gannet BioChem and Serina Therapeutics have entered a development partnership under which Gannet will support development activities for SER-252, Serina’s investigational therapy for advanced Parkinson’s disease.
SER-252 recently received clearance of its investigational new drug application from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, enabling the program to advance into clinical development.
The collaboration pairs Serina’s POZ Platform technology with Gannet’s process development, scale-up and manufacturing capabilities for complex therapeutics.
Gannet will provide development and manufacturing support for the SER-252 program as it moves into clinical stages. The announcement follows Gannet’s participation in the 2026 BIO International Convention.
Gannet describes itself as a specialty CDMO focused on activated polymers and PEG reagents with more than 30 years of experience. Serina is a clinical-stage biotechnology firm developing neurological therapies, and the company claims the POZ Platform is designed to optimize delivery and improve therapeutic efficacy and safety.
