Sky Labs presented its ring-type cuffless blood pressure monitor, CART BP pro, at the 9th Digital Biomarkers in Clinical Trials Summit in Basel, Switzerland, the company announced on 3 July 2026.
According to the company, it showcased the device as a data platform for drug clinical trials and Real-World Evidence collection and said the platform has been adopted for a large-scale cohort study managed by the National Institutes of Health under the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
The press release highlighted limitations of conventional cuff-type 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, citing a 2011 study that reported 70.2% of users experienced sleep disruption and up to 50.0% failure rates among low-tolerability participants.
CART BP pro, worn on the finger, can collect blood pressure and heart rate during daily activities and sleep without repeated arm constriction, reducing subject burden and supporting long-term vital sign collection.
The company also said CART BP pro received medical device approval in 2023, was recognized for reimbursement by South Korea’s Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service in 2024, and that a consumer product, CART BP, launched in September 2025.
