Sky Labs has completed medical device registration and received marketing authorization from the United Kingdom’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency for its CART PLATFORM ring-type blood pressure monitoring system, establishing a regulatory foundation for entry into the UK market.
The CART PLATFORM integrates a ring wearable, a mobile app, a server and a web viewer and has passed certification across hardware and software, with Sky Labs planning full-scale prescription sales through pharmacies, hospitals and clinics in the UK.
The company received CE-MDR certification in January and previously won approval from South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety; its CART BP pro has been integrated into about 1,800 hospitals and clinics after obtaining medical service reimbursement in 2024.
Sky Labs launched a consumer model, CART BP, in September 2025 and the company claims CART is the world’s only cuffless ring-type blood pressure monitor.
