Sky Labs presented clinical research on its ring-type blood pressure monitor CART at ESC 2026 in Munich.
The company hosted five dedicated sessions with new clinical data on atrial fibrillation and heart failure patients, and a 24-hour monitoring study in af patients produced an analyzable data rate of approximately 80 percent enabling observation of nocturnal dipping patterns.
Sky Labs claims a simultaneous comparison in severe heart failure patients (mean ejection fraction 29 percent) showed high agreement with conventional 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and met European Society of Hypertension error-margin criteria.
The company claims CART fulfilled ESH-style validation elements including static, device position, awake/asleep and exercise tests. The device uses photoplethysmography sensors and artificial intelligence deep learning for cuffless 24-hour measurement via a finger ring, the company claims.
CART is actively prescribed in more than 2,000 Korean medical institutions, with over 300,000 cumulative prescriptions; it was recognized by HIRA for 24-hour ABPM reimbursement in 2024, was included in the 2026 Korean Society of Hypertension guidelines, and launched a consumer model in September 2025.
CART is a prescription-only medical device.
