Springfield Wellness Center marked its 25th anniversary as a Louisiana-based clinic that introduced intravenous NAD+ treatment for addiction recovery.

Founded in 2001 by Paula Norris Mestayer, M.Ed., LPC, FAPA, and Dr. Richard F. Mestayer III, M.D., the clinic developed the proprietary BR+NAD® protocol and operates a 10-day outpatient program that, according to the company, draws patients from across the United States.

The clinic pairs BR+NAD® infusions with counseling, hyperbaric oxygen, photobiomodulation, PEMF and auricular cool-laser therapy. Over 25 years, the organization has expanded into three entities: Springfield Wellness Center for patient care, BR+MD Consultants for physician training, and NAD Research, Inc. for clinical research and the annual BR+NAD® Brain Restoration Summit, which the company describes as the only international gathering focused specifically on NAD+ practice and research.

To address rising demand, Springfield announced three leadership additions and said it will expand patient education, increase physician training and publish clinical insights while producing materials to help consumers distinguish medically supervised BR+NAD® care from unregulated offerings.
