Voyager Therapeutics will present a Developing Topics poster on VY1706 at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference in London, 12 to 15 July 2026, with the poster session scheduled for 13 July.

According to the company, VY1706 is an investigational, one-time intravenous AAV gene therapy that uses a vectorized siRNA targeting MAPT mRNA encapsulated in the Voyager TRACER capsid, which the company says leverages the ALPL receptor to deliver the therapeutic to the brain.

The company received U.S. Food and Drug Administration IND clearance for VY1706 earlier this month, enabling initiation of a clinical trial in adults with early Alzheimer’s disease, with dosing expected in the second half of 2026.

The company claims three-month GLP non-human primate toxicology data showed a favorable tolerability profile with no adverse clinical pathology or histopathological findings up to 5E13 vg/kg and reductions in tau protein of up to 75% in relevant brain regions while demonstrating liver de-targeting.

The poster will be made available on Voyager’s website following the conference.
