WELL Health has partnered with AliveCor to integrate Canadian-registered cardiologists from WELL’s network into AliveCor’s Kardia platform, offering paid clinician ECG reviews to Canadian users.

Through the Kardia app, users can request a Clinician Review after recording an ECG; reviews are completed within 24 hours by Canadian-registered cardiologists, according to the company, providing physician-validated interpretation and written guidance. AliveCor’s Kardia app is powered by Health Canada-licensed AI algorithms cleared to detect three common arrhythmias in a 30-second recording, and the company claims the platform has recorded more than 350 million ECGs.

WELL Health will be compensated for each cardiologist review, creating clinical services revenue while extending its specialist network into remote cardiac monitoring. The partnership is presented as a way to bridge gaps in access to cardiology care amid constrained capacity, with the release citing research that elective cardiology wait times rose 53% and averaged 15.3 weeks. This first phase may expand to deploy AliveCor’s Kardia 12L in WELL clinics and broaden services and markets over time.
