Xella Health announced its official launch of an AI-powered precision health platform focused on female biology.
The company says it has a 15,000-woman waitlist and that its proprietary AI sequences billions of data points across clinical inputs and multi-omic biomarkers to detect more than 130 conditions specific to the XX chromosome, including polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS, formerly known as PCOS), perimenopause and endometriosis.
Founded by Kelly Lacob, Adriana Dantas and Dr. Jesus Ching, PhD, Xella was developed while the founders collaborated at Mammoth Biosciences. Xella lists clinical advisors from Stanford and leaders in reproductive endocrinology, and names advisers with experience at Mammoth Biosciences, Roche, Becton Dickinson and GRAIL.
The business is backed by $4.7 million in angel and pre-seed funding from investors including Precursor Ventures, Capital F, Ulu Ventures and Swizzle Ventures.
Annual membership costs $499, is HSA/FSA eligible, and includes testing, a personalized report and asynchronous access to a dedicated clinical team.
Xella is available in 48 states, with New York and New Jersey expected in early 2027.
